“I have grown up alongside Wisdom World School, and it was my home away from home. I will always have fond memories of the place. I remember having only 25 children in my class on the first day of school in June 2010, but ending the year with a whopping 42—a testament that this school was able to hit the ground running from the day it was built. The friendships I’ve built there are everlasting, and the bond with my teachers will be something I cherish for life. Currently, pursuing a degree in User Experience Design at University of the Arts London, I am constantly reminded of how instrumental Wisdom World was in helping me become a truly well-rounded individual, instilling in me a deep-rooted drive to always give my best. “I am Harika Jayanthi from the first ICSE batch of Wisdom World School, 2015. I currently work as a Senior Network Engineer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. During my under graduation, I majored in computer science, and interned with Honeywell and Samsung. Very recently, I got promoted to Senior Network Engineer and currently I am the youngest in my VP's organisation to hold this position across the US and India teams.
Wisdom World School has played a very important role in shaping my personality during the most crucial years, the phase where Ms Simoes always used to call "the young adult" phase. Mastering proper vocabulary and pronunciation during this time has been instrumental for college and work, because after school you never really have the time to learn these nuances of English again, there are only interviews and tests which assess what you know and a good school makes all the difference.
While giving interviews I do not worry about how I speak, speaking fluently comes effortlessly, thanks to all the effort Ms. Simoes put in as our English teacher.
I think the core values that we learnt from all our teachers and the ideals that we were taught to incorporate in the way we approach anything in life have really gone a long way in helping us stand out in our careers.”
